Nell'ambito del progetto "Distretto del legno e della meccanica di Bjelovar. Cooperazione per l'internazionalizzazione delle PMI croate ed italiane" sono stati organizzati i corsi di formazione per 8 professionisti del settore legno (ingegneri, tecnici, tecnologi).
La prima sessione del corso di formazione si e' svolta dal 18 al 24 aprile 2010, mentre la seconda sessione si e' svolta dal 16 al 22 maggio 2010. I temi trattati sono stati il Design industriale e l'Innovazione tecnologica.

The training session seeks to introduce the participants to the design trends in European market in order to strengthened the capabilities of companies in ideating and realising products easily exportable in foreign markets.

- Ecodesign. Design criteria, methods and tools for improving the environmental profile of products.

- Ecolabels and environmental certification of products. ISO 14020: the different types of eco-labels. Databases and supporting software for designers
- Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and methodologies for environmental assessment of the life cycle of products. ISO 14040: principles and methods of carrying out an LCA. Aims, methods and applications of LCA
