The temperature of geothermal water in its source is 175 °C somewhere 2700m in depth. Bjelovar own 128 ha of the land around the geothermal field Velika Ciglena.  Poslovni park Bjelovar d.o.o, owned by Bjelovar city plans to build small and middle entrepreneurship Zone Velika Ciglena. The Zone is intended for the production of vegetables and flowers in greenhouses, construction of the processing and storage objects (curing, feeezing), recreational activities (bathing) and energetical plants (geothermal power plant). Preparation works for the realization of the planned project are meant to be finished during the 2008.
